The Route

Starting at South Whitney Street and stretching all the way to Bushnell Park, you'll come across pop-up dance performances, live music, fitness classes, and art installations. DominGO! is all about being active and using the open street in any way you want to—walk, run, bike, scoot, dance, or skate your way down to experience everything the West End, Asylum Hill, and Downtown Hartford have to offer!

A special thank you to Aetna for sponsoring the efforts of the Asylum Hill Neighborhood Association in helping coordinate activities during this DominGO! Hartford day.

For the safety of DominGO! Hartford event go-ers, there will be no parking on Farmington Avenue for DominGO! days and streets surrounding the route will be open to local traffic only from 7 AM - 4 PM. People can still get in and out of their driveways and streets, just not onto Farmington Ave. Do you typically park on Farmington Ave? The map below highlights the streets that are local traffic only as well as where free and available parking will be on the day of the event.

Detour Info

During DominGO! Hartford on Sunday, June 26, Farmington Avenue will be closed to traffic from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. Buses will parallel existing routes to the extent possible. Buses that normally operate on Farmington Avenue will detour via Whitney, Elizabeth & Asylum. Service to Union Station will be maintained and most buses will pick up at their usual locations in the downtown area. For complete details, click the link below.
